about the Artist
Alana Costello is a New York based artist of Cuban, Italian and Irish descent. She was born in 1994 and is from the Hudson Valley. She studied at SUNY Purchase and received a B.A. in Creative Writing. She also studied briefly, at the Art Student’s League. She’s taught English as Universidad Politécnica Internacional in Heredia, Costa Rica and has worked in various restaurants in New York City. She currently resides in Washington Heights, where she shares a studio space with Audubon Lab Recording.
